WMS Warehouse Management
The BellHawk Online WMS option is an add-on for:
- Barcode Inventory Tracking System (BITS)
- Job and Materials Tracking System (JMTS)
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES), which includes all the capabilities of BITS.
WMS add-on capabilities
- Enter Purchase Orders on-line or import them using Excel spreadsheets
- Record receipts of materials against Purchase Orders and to export the receipts in the form of Excel spreadsheets.
- Generate kit-picking orders and to record the picking of these kits from stock rooms and warehouses.
- Enter Ship Orders on-line or to import these using Excel spreadsheets
- Generate Pick Orders from Ship Orders and to record the picking of orders
- Record shipments against the Ship Orders and to export these in the form of Excel spreadsheets
- Do "Blind" inventory auditing for operations management and accounting purposes.
Please note that instead of using Excel spreadsheets for imports and exports, external systems can import and export this data using the BellHawk Online web-services interface.
WMS add-on geographical scope
- Track materials in multiple geographically distributed:
- Warehouses and stock rooms as well as in
- Outdoor locations such as yards and building sites.
It can also track transfers between these facilities.
WMS add-on capabilities for the MES system
- Create make-to-order jobs automatically from Ship Orders
- Track kitting, assembly, and repacking of materials in warehouses
- Generate purchase orders for predicted inventory shortages that result from planned work orders, using the real-time MRP (Materials Resource Planning) capability of the MES system
