PROJ assigns materials and orders to projects, tracks project operations and inventory, and provides data fro project accounting.
Capabilities
Administration
Projects Screens to create and manage projects.
Customer orders Associate multiple customer sales/shipment orders with projects.
Work orders. Associate multiple work orders with a project: manufacturing, engineering, assembly, repair, test.
Materials
Purchases. Purchase parts or materials for specific customer projects.
Customer owned materials. Record the receipt of customer owned materials for projects.
Material tracking. Track materials by project and prevent material handlers placing materials for different projects in the same bin or location.
Material control. Alert operators when they attempt to use materials for one project on another job.
Common stock. Handle project materials and common stock, and substitution of common stock for project materials..
Stock locations. Assign locations in a warehouse or stock room to a specific project.
Project materials. Track materials, sub-assemblies and assemblies by project including materials shipped to sites.
Project Control
Shipping. Warn material handlers when they attempt to pick and ship materials belonging to another customer.
Real-time status. See the real-time status of all materials on a project: stock, on-order, being made, to be shipped, on-site.
Labour usage. Track labour used on projects by work order and operation.
Equipment usage. Track equipment time used by the project.
Inventory reports. Report inventory and work-in-progress for specific projects
Data Exchange
Project data. Export project records to Excel: Purchase Orders, Ship Orders, Work Orders, Current status.
Business Systems. Exchange data with accounting and ERP systems.
