Proof of Delivery
Drivers use Android phones and rugged terminals as devices to communicate with TraceNow. When a delivery is in a dead spot, the app stores the data until a connection is available.
Simple Collection and Delivery
Drivers can use the Ad-Hoc buttons on the device to collect and deliver any consignment. Ad-Hoc recording is easy to set up as there is no need to synchronise customer details and consignment data with the device. Every consignment record has GPS location and time of delivery, an optional destination image, and the recipient's name and signature,
The TraceNow web site provides reports and tracking information, A device map shows each driver's last reported location, with a time stamp.
Manifested Collection and Delivery
Manifested deliveries are ideal for integration with business systems. The manifest screen shows a large ‘D’ for deliveries and a large ‘C’ in a different colour for collections. Manifests can be routed to drivers by their credentials.
Each item, product or container is tracked. Discrepancies are recorded with optional images. Returns can be recorded for reverse logistics.
The TraceNow website
Multi-level permissions for viewing and control can be assigned to users. Status codes are easy to define, such as "Delivered" and "Not In".
Systems Integration
Configurable templates enable data exchange with the TraceNow cloud server. Data can be exported to other systems for reporting as well as updating customer records, stock control and invoicing.
TraceNow is hosted on Microsoft Azure. The mobile app works on most Android phones (from 2013 or later; v4.4, KitKat upwards).
